Match Report
Marlborough College Malaysia Girls-U18A vs  Tanglin Trust School (TTS)
On: Wednesday, 20 Sep 2017
Venue: Away

On Wednesday the 20th of September the U18 A touch girls departed the college and headed to Tanglin Trust School. Where they played three teams; Tanglin Trust School , Royals and St Paul's, A touring team from Australia. The first fixture of the season was against Tanglin A, We scored the first try of the game of a three man ruck followed by a 2 on 1. Unfortunately tanglin scored three more try’s after this but Marlborough persevered and shut down the rest of the attack.

The next game was against Royals Touch, it was a tight game but marlborough came out on top with a 3-4 win. All of the girls played very well but there was exceptional defence from Alex Harkins who won MVP.

The final game of the day was against St Paul’s the touring team from Australia, it was a very tight game but unfortunately the score was 1-0 to St Paul’s, although it was a narrow loss we still learnt lots from this game as we were lucky enough to play a team from a different region who play a different style of touch so we all came away from this learning something new.

We would like to thank Mrs Riley and Miss Nixon for organising this event and giving the opportunity to play such great teams.
